Sunrise on the Stronghold
Cornwall, England
This shot almost didn’t happen. Without the right equipment for a panoramic, I was fighting with every frame, watching the sunrise slip away. Nothing seemed to work until Brad, having just finished his own take on St Michael’s Mount, ran over and handed me his sturdier tripod. Gamechanger. By then, the colours had deepened, and the first light struck the castle perfectly, casting bold, defined shadows across the fortress walls. It illuminated the scene in a way I could never have planned, proof that sometimes the best moments come from a little chaos.
