Our little corner of the internet began as a way to document our travels, projects, and chaotic attempts at living the life we’ve always dreamed of. What started as a pandemic-era long-distance connection grew into a life of camera gear, campervans, and chasing sunsets (with the occasional breakdown... mechanical and emotional).
We’re not here to sell a fantasy. We're here to tell stories, share beauty, and maybe help you believe that doing things a little differently is more than okay, it’s worth it.

Our little corner of the internet began as a way to document our travels, projects, and chaotic attempts at living the life we’ve always dreamed of. What started as a pandemic-era long-distance connection grew into a life of camera gear, campervans, and chasing sunsets (with the occasional breakdown...mechanical and emotional).
We’re not here to sell a fantasy. We're here to tell stories, share beauty, and maybe help you believe that doing things a little differently is more than okay, it’s worth it.
2020
We met online just before the world locked down. What followed was three months of virtual dating, endless calls, and eventually, a picnic in the park with way too much food and an awkwardly timed loo break. From day one, we knew this was something different. Cue the pandemic-induced daydreams of van life and freedom.

2022
We got engaged on a trip to Corfu (romantic, right?). But more than that, we committed to our bigger dream: building a life on the road. We began planning our first van conversion, digging deep into YouTube rabbit holes and figuring out how to make travel more than just a once-a-year thing.
2023
We bought and converted our first van, Pleebo, a micro camper with big personality and barely enough headroom. We hit the road across Scotland, took on freelance gigs from car parks, and shared every part of it online. This was our first taste of full-time travel, and we were hooked.

2024
Reality knocked hard. We had to sell Pleebo, work full-time, and focus on rebuilding our finances. It was a tough call, but it gave us breathing room, time to reflect, and a stronger foundation to chase the dream, this time, properly.
With a bit of hustle and a lot of spreadsheets, we bought a bigger van, "Phoebe". A proper home on wheels. More space, more comfort, more memories waiting to be made.
2025
We got married! And finally committed to doing this properly, full-time travel, storytelling, and pushing the limits of what this little dream can become. Let’s just say, we’re not slowing down any time soon.

Bradley Basten

Raised in Brighton, by a very big family, I grew up surrounded by bohemian energy and a whole lot of noise (thanks to being the middle child, and yes, I have a twin, no, we’re not identical). From an early age, I was obsessed with photography, snapping landscapes, chasing sunsets, and eventually getting paid to shoot weddings before I could legally vote.
I skipped the university route, landed a creative job in London not long after college, and never looked back. These days, I split my time between filming, editing, and trying to keep the van organised (spoiler: I fail). I’m happiest with a camera in hand and a mountain in front of me, and the fact I can share that moment with my wife, even better.

Born in South Africa, I spent my childhood outside, hiking, climbing, and finding joy in the small things. I didn’t travel internationally, but squeezed every bit of magic out of the South African landscape. I like to think my love for storytelling started there.
At 14, I moved to the UK, a tough shift, but one that shaped me. I studied photography at uni, then dropped out (politely) to pursue writing and content creation on my own terms. I’m a bit of a serial over-sharer and an absolute sucker for anything sentimental. Now I get to write, photograph, cook, hike, and laugh my way through life, and call it work.
